Armenian consumers prefer brand-name stores - ALDO official

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian consumers have been showing more preference for brand-name clothing, which, in turn, helps form popular taste, ALDO PR & Marketing Director for Armenia told PanARMENIAN.Net

At an event celebrating the 40th anniversary of ALDO corporation, Irina Tovmasyan praised the tendency, noting that improved tastes among consumers will eventually lead to wider choice of brand-name clothing and higher demand. According to company official, many brand-name stores currently offer lower prices than generic ones.

As Ms Tovmasyan noted, the event was the first in Armenia to celebrate the anniversary of a world-known brand, especially the one with the interesting history ALDO has.

The Aldo Group is a Canadian corporation that owns and operates a worldwide chain of shoe and accessory stores. The company was founded by Aldo Bensadoun in Montreal, Quebec, in 1972 where its corporate headquarters remain today.
