The four-member Iranian negotiating team, headed by Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili, arrived in Istanbul Friday, April 13 morning. Iran and the P5+1 -Russia, China, Britain, France, the U.S. and Germany - are scheduled to resume a fresh round of multifaceted talks in Istanbul on Saturday. The sides will exchange views on a host of issues, particularly Iran's nuclear energy program. The West accuses Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy activities; Iran insists its program is peaceful.
