Expert: true coalition will be formed as result of competition

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia currently faces real political competition, as a result of which a true coalition will be formed, director of Caucasus Institute said.

Dwelling on the current stage of the election race in Armenia, Alexander Iskandaryan noted that 4-6 parties will make it to the next parliament.

“The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc and ARF Dashnaktsutyun will occupy the top places, with entry of other parties into the parliament still questioned.

Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
