Paper: Orinats Yerkir leader faces financial cutback in 5 years

PanARMENIAN.Net - Financial resources of Orinats Yerkir party’s chairman Artur Baghdasaryan have decreased over the past five years. Instead, he purchased property he did not own back in 2007, Haykakan Zhamanak daily says.

According to the property and income declaration submitted to Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission, Baghdasaryan owns a 315.3 sq.m. apartment and a 38.4 sq.m. garage in Byron street in Yerevan downtown. The politician had no property during previous parliamentary elections, the paper reports.

In addition, he has since purchased VAZ 2121 car, and 100% of shares in Gavex company.

The party leader claimed total income of AMD 4395 mln over the past year, namely his annual salary.

As of March 1, 2012 Baghdasaryan had AMD 5 mln and USD 20000 in his bank accounts, while in 2007 the figure made AMD 8mln and USD190000, according to Haykakan Zhamanak.
