FM skeptical of Baku attempts to submit Karabakh resolution to UN

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 4, Yerevan hosted a joint news conference of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian with his Uruguayan counterpart Luis Almagro.

At news conference, the Armenian official was asked to comment whether Azerbaijan, in a capacity of UN Security Council non-permanent member, will submit Karabakh resolution to the council.

“Baku may try that, however, I doubt the attempt will be a successful one,” Nalbandian said. “OSCE MG co-chairs, as well as the leaders of Russia, U.S. and France have repeatedly stressed the Minsk Group as the only format for Karabakh settlement negotiations.”
