Converse Bank praises EFSE activity in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Converse Bank gives high assessment to the Annual Meeting of the European Fund of the Southeast Europe (EFSE) which is going on in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on May 31, 2012.

“Cooperating with the Fund for already two years, our bank attaches importance to such meetings, which provide an opportunity to meet with our partners and settle issues that could not be solved though correspondence and phone calls during the year. The meetings also give a chance to find new ways for collaboration and establish new contacts,” Mr. Tigran Davtyan, chairman of the management board and executive director of Converse Bank, said in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“The EFSE is expanding its activity in Armenia and we think they are satisfied with the level of cooperation with our country and are interested in deepening these ties. The conditions the Fund offers are flexible and favorable enough and there are presently four Armenian banks partnering with the Fund, namely Converse Bank [which was the first to sign a loan agreement with EFSE], Araratbank, Byblos Bank and Inecobank,” he said.

Another Armenian bank, Ardshininvestbank is currently in talks with the Fund.
