Five killed as plane crash lands  amid strong winds in Ukraine

PanARMENIAN.Net - At least five people were killed after a plane carrying parachute jumpers crash landed outside the Ukrainian capital of Kiev on Sunday, June 10 emergencies officials said.

Thirteen people were taken to hospital with various injuries.

The L-410 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian School of Pilots crash landed amid strong winds and heavy rain, the Emergencies Ministry said.

There were 18 people including two crew on board. Emergencies and security officials are looking into the cause, RIA Novosti reported.
