Ohanyan to attend CIS Defense Ministers’ Council session

PanARMENIAN.Net - Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will attend CIS Defense Ministers’ Council session due July 5 in Russian city of Kaliningrad.

At the event, to be chaired by Russian Defense Minister Anatoliy Serdyukov, the parties will focus on joint use of Russia’s military orbital group and space vehicles in the interests of CIS armies.

Also, the layout of “Clean Sky 2012” joint air force will be determined, with Kazakhstan –hosted anti-missile command post military exercises and joint events for 2013 to be discussed.

The session will host defense ministry delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine
