At least 8 killed, over 50 wounded in Baghdad blasts

PanARMENIAN.Net - At least 8 people were killed and more than 50 wounded when two roadside bombs exploded in a popular market on the northern outskirts of Iraq's capital on Friday, June 22, police and hospital sources said, according to Reuters.

The attack was the latest in a wave of bombings this month that have targeted mainly Shi'ite Muslim pilgrims and religious sites and have revived concerns of widespread sectarian violence.
