Armenia, Jordan sign agreement on cultural cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Jordan signed on Thursday, June 28 an agreement to set up closer cultural cooperation as well as the exchange of expertise between the two countries, Petra reports.

Under the deal, which was signed by Culture Minister Salah Jarrar and his Armenian counterpart Hasmik Poghosyan, both sides will cooperate in holding cultural exhibitions and performances in the two countries and in exchanging visits among artists, writers, poets and musicians.

They will also exchange data and information related to museums, libraries and archives and will encourage participation in conferences and seminars as well as training courses in the cultural field.

Minister Poghosyan is in Jordan in the framework of the Days of Armenian Culture being held in the country.
