Armenia posts 0,7% inflation rate in June

PanARMENIAN.Net - 0,7% inflation rate was recorded in Armenia's consumer market in June compared to the same period in 2011.

During the reported period, prices for foodstuff (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) dropped by 0,9%; non-foods’ prices increased by 3,9%, with 1,9% growth in tariffs for services posted.

In January-June 2012 consumer prices dropped by 0,1% compared to same period in 2011.

Consumer prices decreased by 1,5-0.2% in June compared to May in all Armenian cities under study, while the highest index was registered in Yerevan.
