Armenia posts 9,3% economic activity index in May![]() July 20, 2012 - 15:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s economic activity index in June 2012 totaled 9,3%, growing by 10,18% as compared to May 2012, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia. In June 2012, consumer prices grew by 0,7%, with 1,3% deflation recorded on a monthly basis. Meanwhile, in January-June 2012 inflation rate increased by 2,2% as compared with the same period in 2011. The national budget envisages 4,2% economic activity growth, and 4±1,5% inflation for 2012. IFC invested $244 million in 40 projects across a range of sectors, including financial markets, manufacturing, and mining.
