OSCE Mission monitors NKR-Azerbaijan contact line![]() August 23, 2012 - 12:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 23, in accordance with the previously achieved agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic, the OSCE Mission held scheduled monitoring of the contact line between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces in Askeran direction. From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was held by Permanent Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzey Kaspzyk (Poland). The monitoring group included Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Irjie Aberle (Czech Republic) and William Prior (Great Britain). On the opposite side, the monitoring group comprised Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Coordinator of the office of PR CiO Peter Kee (Great Britain). The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the ceasefire was registered. From the Karabakh party, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, reported the NKR MFA press service.
