Iranian armed forces staff chief to sue U.S. Treasury

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi threatened to sue the U.S. administration as a response to the travel and financial sanctions against him.

Firouzabadi told Fars News Agency on Monday, Aug 27, that he wants to lodge a complaint against the U.S. Department of the Treasury because they “are against humanitarian services and efforts for Iran's national security and independence and consider it as a criminal act.”

"The U.S. should be held accountable for its irrational, unjustified and undocumented move," Firouzabadi said.
