Israel Defense Forces report 51 terrorist attacks in August September 4, 2012 - 12:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet security service) has released figures that show 51 terrorist attacks recorded in August, The Jerusalem Post reported. According to the figures, although the overall number represents a decrease compared to July, there was a rise in terror activity in Jerusalem and in terror attacks launched against Israel from the Sinai Peninsula. There was also an increase in the total number of rockets fired against Israel. During the month of August, 21 rockets and three mortars were launched towards Israel, as compared to 18 rockets launched in July, the Israel Defense Forces said.
