Prosecutor Murat Uzun was leaving his home when a gunman opened fire on him. Uzun sustained a bullet wound to his head and was taken to Ovacık State Hospital before being flown to nearby Elazığ with an ambulance helicopter. He remains in critical condition. Security forces were searching for the alleged assailant, who fled the scene in a car, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
