3 killed in Baghdad minibus bombing

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iraqi officials say a bomb attached to a minibus has killed three people in the capital Baghdad, according to AP.

Police officials say that the Sunday, September 23 bombing took place in the Shiite district of Sadr city. More than seven passengers were wounded in the blast, the officials said.

Medics in nearby hospital confirmed the death toll.

All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

Violence has ebbed in Iraq, but insurgents carry out frequent attacks in an attempt to shake the people's trust in the Shiite-led government.
