Several quakes jolt Northwestern Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - Several earthquakes struck the town of Varzaqan in East Azerbaijan province, Northwestern Iran on Thursday, Sept 27.

According to Fars news agency, the strongest quake today measured 4.5 on the Richter scale and jolted an area near the town of Varzaqan at 04:26 local time (0056 GMT).

There are yet no reports on the number of possible casualties or damage to properties by the quake.
