The president added that Ahmadinejad's assertion that Jewish ties to their country are only 60 or 70 years old are "complete nonsense." "Ahmadinejad needs a history lesson", President Peres said. "I was embarrassed to see a president who speaks at the UN and does not know his own country's history."
