Paper: Free Democrats go back on promise to Heritage

PanARMENIAN.Net - A new scandal is brewing between Raffi Hovannisian’s Heritage party and Khachatur Kokobelyan-led Free Democrats, Haykakan Zhamanak daily said.

According to the paper, Kokobelyan went back on his promise to resign his MP seat.

As was earlier agreed with Free Democrats party leader, Hovannisian pledged to quit his seat in case the former does so.

However, as Kokobelyan failed to follow Hovannisian’s suit in submitting an application to quit his deputy seat, Hovannisian’s recalling the application was discussed at Heritage political party sitting on Tuesday, Oct 1.
