At least 7 killed in Baghdad Shiite neighborhood attacks![]() October 23, 2012 - 11:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A car bomb and mortar attacks against predominantly Shiite neighborhoods in north Baghdad killed at least seven people Tuesday, Oct 23, security and medical officials said, according to AFP. Multiple mortars struck the Chikouk area, while a car bomb exploded in Shuala, an interior ministry official said, putting the toll at nine dead and 12 wounded. A medical official said seven people died and 22 were hurt, but warned that the toll could rise. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
