In his speech at the 11th meeting of Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission Namjoo hailed the bilateral political and economic relations. “Though progress has been recorded in the implementation of joint projects, the existing obstacles have protracted the process,” he said, deeming the results unsatisfactory and stressing the need to settle the problems to record further progress. The parties further discussed cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, transport and communication, nature protection, healthcare, agriculture, education, culture, as well as interregional collaboration.
