Public figure forecasts gas price hike after Armenian presidential polls

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gas price upsurge will be recorded after Armenian presidential elections, Armenian Consumers' Union NGO chairman said.

As Armen Poghosyan noted, Kremlin decides on the gas price, naming USD 330 for Europe and USD 180 for Armenia.

“Gas price hike will lead to price rise of staple goods,” he said, adding that this time, too, the institutions will play the usual trick, saying the price upsurge won’t affect the family budget much.

“A person is not born to buy shoes or potatoes only,” Mr. Poghosyan said, deeming the current terrible.
