"The [Brotherhood] voices its support for the Palestinian resistance, and is furious about the Zionist attacks," the Brotherhood's statement reportedly read. "What is happening in Gaza is a violation of international law and exposes the lies of the claimed Zionist peace," the statement added. According to Al Ahram, the Brotherhood also called on Arab and Muslim leaders "to play their role in supporting the Palestinian cause and to help stop the bloodshed."
