Govt. exempts Syrian Armenians from passport fees

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government made amendments to the law on state duties November 22, exempting Syrian Armenians from AMD 65 000 fee for receipt or exchange of passports.

As Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan noted, government is taking relevant measures to ensure the security of Syrian Armenians, given the current political developments.

The decision envisages local government budget cuts by AMD 65 mln.
