NON-PARTICIPATION IN TALKS DOES NOT MEAN NKR HOLDING PASSIVE STAND

PanARMENIAN.Net - The question of Nagorno Karabakh joining the talks over the Karabakh settlement are on the political agenda of the republic, Nagorno Karabakh Foreign Minister Arman Melikian stated. In his words, "another case is that due to certain circumstances the Nagorno Karabakh Republic does not take part in the talks." "However, I am sure (and it was spoken about earlier), that it should take part, as, in my opinion, the negotiation process can be efficient only in case the NKR joins it. Undoubtedly, not taking part in the talks does not mean we hold a passive stand and play a waiting game. We pursue our foreign policy and in this respect it does not conflict with common international processes," Arman Melikian noted, Regnum news agency reported.
