CSTO to set up joint air and missile defense system![]() December 4, 2012 - 14:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A joint air and missile defense system will be established by Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states, chief of the general staff of Russian armed forces said. As Valery Gerasimov noted at meeting with military attachés, the CSTO aims to reform collective troops and in the long run create a joint anti-aircraft/anti-missile system, Voice of Russia reported. President Sahakyan stressed the combat readiness of Artsakh defense among key factors in the country’s security and state building. “The above mentioned NGOs’ participation in the forum is only possible as a part of Azerbaijani delegation,” ANP said.
