Abraham seeking to stage rematch vs Froch, Dirrell

PanARMENIAN.Net - WBO world champion Arthur Abraham deems the year 2012 to have been successful, citing his bout vs Robert Stieglitz to win WBO 168lb belt, and retaining it in a fight against Mehdi Bouadla.

“It was a great honor for me to win WBO world champion’s title in a bout against Robert Stieglitz and defend it in a battle against Bouadla. I think 2012 was a successful year for me,” he said.

Abraham is planning to stage a rematch with Stieglitz either on March 30 or April 6, 2013, to be possibly followed by a bout against Kelly Pavlik. The boxer has also expressed a wish to hold a rematch with Carl Froch and Andre Dirrell.
