Mkhitaryan says won’t return to Armenia national teamMarch 6, 2023 - 16:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Inter Milan midfielder and former captain of the Armenian national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said he is not going to return to the national squad. "I don't regret my decision. I have always made my decisions with a cool head and a calm heart," he said in an interview with Proffootball.am. Admitting that the decision to leave the national team did not come easy, Mkhitaryan nonetheless noted that it was better "to end his career one step early than two steps later." He promised to speak about his decision in detail once his career is over Mkhitaryan also wished the Armenian national team good luck in their next matches, including against Turkey.
