133 deaths reported in Yerevan from January 1 to 13![]() January 15, 2013 - 16:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan ambulance service posted 6687 call-outs from January 1 to 10, with 1070 people further put in hospitals, the ambulance service director said. “133 deaths were posted in the reporting period, with 2056 and 1949 cases of death having occurred in 2012 and 2011 respectively,” Taguhi Stepanyan told a January 15 news conference. “We have to service an average of 750 ambulance call-outs daily,” Ms Stepanyan said, noting in increase in the number of young patients. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
