Alcatel gets $1bn contract with India's Reliance Communications![]() January 16, 2013 - 11:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Reliance Communications Ltd, India's No. 3 mobile phone carrier by customers, said on Wednesday, Jan 16, it would award a multi-year contract valued at more than $1 billion to Franco-American telecommunications equipment maker Alcatel-Lucent to manage its network, according to Reuters. Alcatel-Lucent currently operates a joint venture with Reliance Communications to manage the Indian carrier's network. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
