Rocket hits building in Syria’s Aleppo, causes many casualties![]() January 18, 2013 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Syrian state media say a rocket has slammed into building in the northern city of Aleppo, causing many casualties. According to The Associated Press, the state-run SANA news agency says rebels fired a rocket on Friday, Jan 18 morning, hitting a building in a government-controlled area of the city, Syria's largest. The number of dead and wounded was not immediately clear. On Tuesday, 87 people, most of them students, were killed at Aleppo University in twin blasts that struck as students were taking their exams. Each side blames the other for the attack. The regime said rebels hit the university with rockets. Rebels say the deaths resulted from a regime airstrike. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
