Hayrikyan formally asks CC to delay presidential election

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian presidential hopeful Paruyr Hayrikyan, who survived an assassination attempt on Jan 31, has addressed the country’s Constitutional Court with an appeal to postpone the elections for two weeks, candidate’s assistant Vrezh Zatikyan told a PanARMENAIN.Net reporter.

It’s not ruled out that the appeal will be withdrawn in case Hayrikyan as well as two other presidential hopefuls - Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan - unite to nominate a common candidate to continue the election campaign.
