Military helicopter crashes into sea in Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani military helicopter crashed into the Caspian Sea on Monday, Feb 11, Trend news agency reported.

According to the latest data, the Mi-17 helicopter belonged the country’s Defense Ministry.

The crash was reportedly due to poor visibility caused by dense fog. The helicopter fell into the sea at a distance of 300 meters from the shore. Four ships are involved in the rescue operation. One of those aboard has been found dead.
