Municipality says Raffi Hovannissian rallies unauthorized![]() February 22, 2013 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan Municipality has not authorized former presidential candidate, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannissian to hold rallies on February 23, 24, 25. “Mr Hovannissian’s authorized representative Armen Martirosyan submitted the reports on the planned rallies on Feb 20. The applications have been recalled, as under RA law on freedom of assembly, they must be presented no later than 7 days before the rally,” the municipality’s press service reported. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
