  French Resistance hero Missak Manouchian commemorated in Paris February 22, 2013 - 15:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Association of Armenian Veterans and Resistance Movement Participants along with Israeli Army Chaplains commemorated the 69th anniversary of the execution of a French Resistance hero Missak Manouchian. As the Association leader Antoine Bagdikian stated at the event, by jointly commemorating the hero, Armenian and Jewish people are further promoting the culture of solidarity, increasing the awareness of genocides. Arsen Chakarian, 95, the only surviving member of Manouchian’s Resistance group presented his book, The Commando of the Red Poster, which chronicles the work of the anti-Nazi movement.
