Ex-candidate Hayrikyan may undergo treatment abroad

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former presidential candidate, National Self-Determination Union party chairman Paruyr Hayrikyan’s health impairs, person in charge of the party’s external affairs said.

According to Karo Yegnukyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan may be taken abroad for full treatment. On Feb 28, Hayrikyan was taken to Red Cross hospital, where he still undergoes 8 different medical courses.

“There’s no better center in Armenia for treatment of similar wounds. Healthcare Ministry advised Hayrikyan to continue the treatment abroad,” Mr Yegnukyan said, adding that pain killers no more help Hayrikyan.

On January 31, an assassination attempt was made on then presidential candidate of Armenia Paruyr Hayrkyan, who was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
