Kerry to make first trip to Asia-Pacific region

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will make his first trip to the Asia-Pacific region next month, The Associated Press reported.

Kerry will meet with foreign ministers of the Group of Eight industrialized powers in London on April 10 and 11. From there, he will fly to Asia for stops in China, Japan, South Korea and possible other destinations.

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland says Kerry's meetings will focus on economic and security cooperation in the region.
