Israel to show off hardware for Obama

PanARMENIAN.Net - After weeks of preparation and planning, ‘we are ready for the arrival of U.S. President Barack Obama’, the head of operations at the Israeli Defense Ministry said on Tuesday, March 19, according to The Jerusalem Post.

In a special 80-meter area at Ben Gurion Airport, the Israel Defense Forces will mark the start of Obama's three-day trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories with a display of anti-missile defenses, funded partly by the United States.

Some 250 guests, 250 VIPs and 300 journalists from Israel and around the world will attend the official welcoming ceremony at the airport midday Wednesday.
