Syrian rebels said Thursday, March 28, that they hit an Iranian plane carrying weapons to the country, The Jerusalem Post reported citing Israel Radio.

According to the reports emerging from Syrian rebel sources, the forces fired at the plane as it landed at Damascus airport and went up in flames after being hit.
