Anthrax Found in Gyumri Armenian Town

PanARMENIAN.Net - Doctors in Armenia's second largest town of Gyumri have diagnosed skin anthrax with a 47-year-old woman. She was hospitalized and is being now treated at the local hospital.

According to the woman, she might have been infected by meat she had bought ten days before at a local market.



RA Health Ministry Spokesperson said that after a bacteriological analysis the specialist confirmed the diagnosis. To note, this is a single case of the illness in Armenia, reported IA Regnum.
