Catholicos briefed Prince Charles on Armenian church’s mission in the people’s life and its role in national identity maintenance and restoration of independent statehood. Prince Charles further familiarized himself with the religious and cultural values of the Armenia church. He was briefed on the activity of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. A visit to Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Matenadaran was also on Prince Charles’s agenda.
