U.S. Secretary of State apparently delays visit to Israel

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will apparently delay his next visit to Israel by a week, Arutz Sheva reported.

Kerry was expected to arrive on Tuesday, June 11 and a working meeting was on President Shim'on Peres's schedule.

The point of the delay is to give Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority more time to decide if he will reject placing preconditions on the resumption of direct talks with Israel. The State Department has not published exact details of Kerry's trip so it did not respond to reports about the delay.
