Armenia’s brandy production drops 4,6%

PanARMENIAN.Net - 4 964,3 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-April 2013, with production volume decreasing by 4,6% against the same period in 2012 (5 203.6 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 1 660,9 thousand liters of wine was produced in January-April 2013 against 1 363 thousand liters in 2012 (21,9% increase).

During the reporting period, beer production totaled 3 007,4 thousand liters, dropping by 1,9% against 2012 output (3064,9 thousand liters). Production of champagne increased 2,3 times totaling 69,5 thousand liters.

In January-April 2013, production of soft drinks in Armenia increased by 57,1% to total 11 815,4 thousand liters.
