Armenia's 1st free economic zone to launch August 1July 18, 2013 - 13:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first free economic zone in Armenia will start operating on August 1, 2013 with Sytronics Armenia CJSC as an organizer. The FEZ, which was given a 10-year license, will be established at RAO Mars factory and Yerevan Computer R&D Institute (Mergelyan Institute.) Eligible to operate in FEZ will be companies engaged in the production and exports of high and innovative technologies in the field of electronics, precision engineering, pharmaceutics and biotechnologies, information technologies, alternative energy, industrial design and telecommunications (elaboration and production of technological equipment, systems and materials for data/information transfer).
