Accord Magazine 17th Issue on Karabakh Problem to Be Presented in NK

PanARMENIAN.Net - March 3 presentation of the 17th issue of Accord, a magazine on conflicts, will be held in Stepanakert. The issue is fully dedicated to the Nagorno Karabakh settlement and is titled Limits of abilities of leaders, the elite and society in the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. The 17th issue contains views of the peace process and analysis of conflict consequences by authors representing different interests and viewpoints. Articles focus on civil society media role, war and peace economy and further democratization of societies. The collection also includes key documents and agreements, as well as chronology of the peace process. Armenian and Azeri FMs, other well-known politicians, public figures, analysts and journalists are among authors of the journal.

The issue goal is not only to provide information on the Karabakh settlement to people outside the confrontation, but also to give foot for thought to people, who directly represent conflict zones. «Ten years of standstill resulted in gradual reduction of international community's interest to the conflict against the background of disappointment at absence of any progress in the peace process. The task of Accord's this issue is to draw attention to the Karabakh peace process and analyze the causes of the current stalemate,» Reconciliation Resources Program Co-Director of the Caucasus Project of the Reconciliation Resources Program Jonathan Cohen believes.

Accord is being issued with the financial support of Reconciliation Resources international NGO, which supports efforts aimed at prevention fo violence, establishment fo justice and transformation of armed conflicts, reports Karabakh-online.
