Sourp Kevork church reconstruction to launch in Turkey’s Sivas![]() December 3, 2013 - 13:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Minister of Defense Ismet Yilmaz instructed to launch reconstruction of the Sivas-located Sourp Kevork (St. George) Armenian church. According to Agos Armenian-Turkish daily, the official issued an assistance request to the city administration. Trough the efforts of Sourp Kevork Armenian charity union and Defense Minister’s assistance, the currently dilapidated church was transferred from the territory of a military base.
