Areximbank-Gazprombank Group wins 2013 IFM best corporate bank award

PanARMENIAN.Net - International Finance Magazine named Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC the Best Corporate Bank in Armenia in 2013, IFM official website reported.

The IFM Awards recognizes and honours individuals and organisations in the international finance industry that make a significant difference and add value, heralding the highest standards of innovation and performance. The Award shines a spotlight on those who make a contribution to raising the bar in the financial industry through activities of note. These include path-breaking initiatives in corporate social responsibility or charitable activities, better corporate governance and other achievements that impact the global finance community.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC has been established in 1998 to support the business and manage financial flows between Russia and Armenia. Since 2007 the shareholder of the Bank is one of the largest Russian banks - Gazprombank (Open Joint Stock Company), whose penetration into the Armenian financial market is conditioned by the increase of investments of Russian companies into the Armenian economy, the needs of large corporate clients in complex banking services, as well as the necessity in funding Gazprom projects in the country’s territory.

As a universal financial and credit organization, the Bank offers its clients a full range of banking products. Among the Bank's priorities of project financing are major corporate clients, primarily strategic industries in the country, particularly the energy sector, lending to small and medium enterprises, production and servicing of plastic cards, e-banking, international money transfers both via payment systems and ATMs.

The Bank has successfully passed ISO 9001:2008 international standards certification as well as ISO 27001: 2005 information international standards certification. The Bank has 16 branches, 7 of which are located in Yerevan and 9 – in the Country’s regions.
