The officials say a bombing at a wholesale vegetable market in southern Baghdad killed one person and wounded three. Later on, a bomb exploded in a commercial area in the northern suburb of Taji, killing two people and wounding seven. Medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to media.
