Two Ukrainian military fighter shot down, ministry says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two Ukrainian military fighter jets have been shot down in the east, the country's Defense Ministry said, according to the Associated Press.

The Sukhoi-25 fighters were shot down 1:30 pm local time Wednesday, July 23, over an area called Savur Mogila, the ministry said.

Defense Ministry spokesman Oleksiy Dmitrashkovsky said the planes may have been carrying up to two crew members each.
